It's minimalism day!

31. 3D MAX

This exercise may have looked simple but it properly taught me how to use my view ports to make sure that my tube matched up to this shape.

30. 3D Bananas and Curtains

As the title mentioned, today is a pink banana day with curtains. We learned how to efficiently duplicate and use rippling effects.

29. 3D MAX

During class today, we learned how to make a bench and a conference table. The conference table was an in class assignment we did. Instructions were given via PDF and we had the chance to try it on our own.

28. 3DMAX

3Ds MAX  this semester is something significantly new for me as I've never used any programs with 3D. In a way, though tedious, it's really interesting to see what we can create with it.

Here is a sofa and shark that we made during class.

27. IDP Semester 2

Assignment 1: Art Trails and Material Exploration

This assignment is about media exploration in relation to our artist assigned. My artist is called Yusuf Gajah and he often paints elephants with a large variety of mediums.

Assignment 2: Design CSI

Design CSI includes our pin ups for moodpboard, bubble diagram, mind map and case studies.

 

  

As soon as these were confirmed, we moved on to designing our feature wall. The model of the facade was made as well with a scale of 1:25.

Next, the floorpan, section and elevation drawings were drawn. Detail drawings of furniture design was also important and needed to be pinned up.

Model building begins! With blood, sweat and tears, I learned the difficulty and patience of trying to create a good model. Adding details and precise measurements was not easy task.
